ANTI-FUR activists have staged a protest outside Victoria Beckham’s London fashion week show despite her brand not using fur.

Posh, 44, confirmed her label will continue to remain “fur free” following the dramatic scenes outside her catwalk venue at a gallery in Dover St, London.

Protesters stood outside holding a blood-soaked banner which read “ban fur forever”, along with placards saying “fur is dead” and “skinned alive for a coat”.

Beckham’s self-titled brand, which has faced financial pressure after losing $A15 million last year, held its first-ever show during London fashion week after previously only showing in New York.

Posh showcased her label’s spring/summer 2019 range in front of 250 guests, with the runway opened by model Stella Tennant, 47.

“This season I wanted it to be about women as well as girls. I wanted to have women on the catwalk who my customer can relate to,” Beckham told The Guardian.

“I get more nervous every season, not less nervous, because the brand keeps getting bigger.”

Meantime, the anti-fur protest out the front of Posh’s show venue was not the first controversy surrounding her London fashion week debut.

Last week, she was the subject of an epic “chatbot” fail after a marketing stunt backfired and suggested she wanted a divorce.

The usually controlled star launched a robotic chat app with Facebook that allowed her to answer questions via her profile, as a promotion for her London fashion week presentation.

But the online tool, which was intended to celebrate a decade of her designer brand, produced embarrassing answers when thousands of fans asked its software about Posh’s relationship with hubby David, The Sun reported.

When asked, “Would divorcing David make you happy?” the automated Victoria replied “Very”.

In a video on the social media site, Victoria had told her 3.1 million followers: “I wanted to let you know that the incredible team at Facebook have created a chatbot version of me, Victoria Beckham, so I can virtually keep you up to date with everything that’s happening during London Fashion Week.”

The online messages mirror mum-of-four Posh’s response this month when she didn’t mention “love” in a magazine interview, saying only that she and 43-year-old David were “stronger together”.

In June, the power couple were forced to deny rumours that they were about to split.
